Sensational icon of American industry Lupita Amondi Nyong’o was born on March 1, 1983 in Mexico City. She is the second of the six children’s born to Peter Anyang Nyongo’o and Dorothy Ogada Buyu. Both of her parents are descendants of Kenya whereas her father was a professor at college. She moved to Kenya with her family when she was of 1 years old as her father had to fulfill his commitments at University of Nairobi as professor.
Now she is a Kenyan-Mexican citizen. She actively took part in school productions while studying at Rusinga International School based in Kenya and then earned her bachelor’s degree from Hampshire College in film and theater.
